MySQL backend support for Master/Slaves

Due to the high DB requirements for Zabbix in larger environments it would be great to have support to stagger reads across MySQL slaves while having all updates/deletes/transactions go to the MySQL master server:

I think you can use mysql-proxy to achieve this

Unfortunately, MySQL Proxy is not ready for production use or recommended by MySQL.
