Web monitoring - specific proxy support

    Hi,

That would be really great if we were able to configure a specific proxy to go through for each Web scenario.

    Cheers,

you can do that by assigning a host to that proxy

      Hi,

      Thanks for your reply.

But I'm still not sure to get it.
All of my proxies are declared as hosts.
Anyway, what I want to do is checking that they all work fine. Thefore, I thought about a web scenario that would test access to google.com for an example, to be reached through each of these proxies (one scenario per proxy, all of them displaying the URL google.com reached from a different path).
I still can't sort out how to do that.
Thanks in advance for any help.
      Cheers,

If I use web.page.get item zabbix agent sends to web server no web client string.
I can see following in web server log:

            Code:
            10.10.10.10 - - [31/Aug/2012:13:29:59 +0300] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 44 "-" "-"
Is it possible to change this?

It's possible with Web scenario but I need web.get.page because my task is similar to raoul's task.

hmm. specifying user agent for web.page.get would be a new feature request

                Hi,

At last I found some time to check the web.page.get item ... it seems that it still doesn't fit with what I need to do ; I'm gonna try to explain it more clearly ...

                For an example :
I have 3 proxies on 3 different buildings in my network.
I want to be sure that they're all working correctly.
Therefore, I want to check that the URL http://myurl.intranet.company.com can be reached through each of these proxies.
On my PC, I can manually test this by changing the proxy properties of my web browser. But I can't find such a feature in Zabbix, enabling me to configure 3 different Web scenarii testing this same URL but with different proxy settings.

                Cheers,

                r/

oh, you meant http proxies, not zabbix proxies... no, you can not do that at this time - feature request is at https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-308

Yes sorry I wasn't clear about this point.
As I'm not using Zabbix proxies I just didn't realize the misunderstanding.
                    Thanks again for your answer.
