Suggestion for MAP Items

It would be very nice to have a new type in a map "item".
So that you cann assign a item-value to a image.

For exampel if you want create a map for one single "switch" and you want to monitor 24-Ports, if the Ports are ofline or online.
you have an Item for this device "device.port1-status" (Integer)

so it would be nice if you can select in a map a type "item" then select a item from host "device.port1-stauts" and say

Value="1" => icon="port_is_online"
Value="2" => icon="port_is_offline"
Value="3" => icon="port_is_testing"
.
.
.

I think it would be a very nice.

Its a way to display custom status on a MAP!
becouse each compony has her own "This i want to monitor" and with this feuture you can do this.

You can already do something like this with a 'trigger icon'. However, that can only differentiate between the two states of a trigger.

So:

OK-> Port is online
PROBLEM ->Port is down

Might not be enterily what you want, but might get you at least some of the functionality.
Btw, links can depend on multiple triggers with various colors, widths, etc. These can be used to differentiate multiple states.
