I recently ran into an issue with several of the stock SNMP templates in 2.0.3
About half of the item prototypes had an interval of 60, and the other half (mostly static things like ifDescr) had an interval of 3600. After sifting through tcpdumps for awhile, I noticed that ifDescr was being polled every 50 seconds. "Aha! That's the default value for adding flexible intervals" I thought. Turns a number of the SNMP templates (and perhaps others) have a 24/7 50s flexible interval. I filed a bug report - https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-5848.
Anyways, I would have discovered this much sooner if the items grid gave at least some indication that there were flexible intervals set.
