ping tracert

Hi

I thought I would ask here before heading to the support pages..

Woud it be possible to add a tracert test. similiar to ping. but upon failure you could get access to the tracert in the trigger ?

I am monitoring some snmp device (cpe devices) and occasionally over night one fill trigger, but just one and I don't see any issues with anything else except the ping.. It could be my backups. I use VM's and snaps are done and then backedup.. but I had set my pings to 5,250 5 pings avg 250 millis spacing .... 1.25 sec so it might still be caught up in the time the snap is being taken but ...

Is this in there already and I have missed it ?

There is no tracert item available currently, but you could set up an external check on the zabbix server and use that as an item for your hosts.

It will require some scripting though.
