If netload not supported, why's it installed?

I just installed Zabbix 1.1. Very nice. However I was surprised to discover that the netloadin/out functions came back as "unsupported". Searching the forums, I came across a link showing the supported tests. It listed net.if.in and net.if.out and stated that netloadin/out were history. OK.

    I'm wondering:

    1) Why the netloadin/out functions would be loaded when they are no longer supported and have been replaced?

    2) Why were the new fuctions not setup on install?

    3) Do the new net.if.in and net.if.out functions support a 1/5/15 logic like their predecessors. The docs don't say they do, but the docs I came across only covered up to 1.1beta5.

Note that this was a new, clean intstall.
