    New screenshots from 1.1alpha6

    Hi all,

The functionality is not 100% implemented. Before going forward, I'd like to hear your opinion about these new views. See screenshots below. Will the functionality be useful? What information would you like to see there? Any suggestions? Feel free to discuss it!

The design was inspired by an email from Pawel Sadowski

Screenshot 2. Viewing latest data for host group "Servers".

Aaargh! You took away from me the fun of writing this page!
It looks good, much better than my of course. Im waiting with impatience for the 1.1alpha6 release.
You can be sure, _this_ functionality be very useful. For me - for sure
It does not mean, im going to stop rewriting these pages.

A remark: I wrote a simple test, to see what happen, when a table
with only row_nr/col_nr in each cell (75 columns x 2000
rows, without any additional calculations) is displayed. It is true, it tooked few minutes to display this page. I think there have to be a way to select which items have to be shown and wich not on this page.
If there will be the "auto-refresh" function, it cant be too big list of items to display (as you said).

The other thing is - I think not all items have such a importance, to monitor them in real-time. If there are too many shown - the page becomes unreadable, and it becomes difficult to follow and compare them in real-time.
They can be still monitored by the system, but dont need to be displayed.
Example: if I want to check the diskspace on few systems (i suspect problems with free space, while transfering files), i dont need to see the "smtp is on" monitor.

    best regards
    Pawel Sadowski

ps: besides the english-language mistakes - i hope it was clear to understand

ps2: of course "real-time" means here 30-60 seconds update/refresh time.

        functionality is great !

Maybe it could show by some another color or by some icon inside box, if this value is old. Especialy if servers comes unreachable, you still see old values and you do not know about this. So if value is older than some time, there could be some cross inside colored box ?

Same to standard views of latest data. Would be nice to see old values with another color. Now I have to look to dates.

        Thanx !
        Wondering for new version !

          great!

I post a suggestion this mornig without see this page, sorry for that

I was suggesting to create a overall page, and this one is very great!! It was the only thing that can make an issue in front of nagios, whith that page, we can see directly what are the problem in the network

When did the 1.1alpha6 is opened? I would like to show this possibilitie of zabbix to my boss before he chose nagios/APAN (this overall view was a priority for him).

          Thank for this grat job

                Hi!

Looks really useful. I was on my way to extend current version by writing an overview add-on. Waiting for relase of alpha 6! Keep going!

We are way past alpha6. We are currently on beta2, which is roughly 8 updgrades beyond alpha6.
