Suggestion: changing background color of graph on trigger

Could we have the background color of a graph change upon passing the threshold of a trigger?

It would help staff know that there is a trigger change for the graph on our display monitors.

I like this idea. Perhaps we should put some interestring border to the graphs rather than changing background color. What do you think?

i'm not quite sure if only changing border colors is enough...
perhaps a thick red border plus a "very" light red background would be the best solution.
Or- to make it perfect: let the user decide how he would like to have it shown. Perhaps with help of the tool discussed here ?!

I think a "very" light red or "very" light color change would do.
This color change on a full graph is more noticable than a border change.

We have several screens of maps and graphs on its borders. From far away, if we can notice that a graph has changed color, we can know that a trigger is activated.

Too dark a color may make the graph unreadable.

This feature would be really nice. If you have the system running on a big screen, then your attention will be at the screen if something turns red!

please report this on the feature request tracker (so that everybody can vote on it ).
actual implementation might be tricky, but maybe _optionally_ change surrounding area colour based on trigger severity (which would also deal with multiple triggers) ?

We have a big LCD with a Slideshow of the most important Triggers of our clients and are thinking about using a projector against a big naked wall.
This would be a noticeable alert.
