Edit macro values in web monitoring using function "replace(<what>,<to_what>)"

Idea - have "replace" function to edit values of macro variables {{macro}.replace(<what_sub_str>,<to_what_sub_str>) } like existing urlencode/urldecode ({{macro}.urlencode()}).
Please let me know if someone also interested in function implementation.
