    Centrolized agent configuration management

Nowadays Zabbix supports allot of function. But suddenly I realized that one on my mind important feature still missing This is centralized agent configuration feature. Actually I have written some alternative solution for now, but included feature would be just fantastic.
Just imagine you just create a template of configuration and release host-by-host, or host group or to all host. Something similar to that is used in SNORT networks by snortecenter if you have huge number of sensors this really pays-off. I understand there could be some questions about security, but if we would use SSL and maybe some kind of password for configuration upload to agent I think this is very possible to use.
What do you think about that?

I'm thinking about doing an apt-gettable customized zabbix_agent package to work around this issue in our network. What solution did you write?

    Thanks,Andreas
