Discovery rule only create items for default interface

I have a discovery rule that discovers all IP addresses in a network. And I have and action to create hosts for IP addresses discovered and apply a template on these hosts. In my template, I defined a discovery rule that finds all the open ports. The problem is some machines have multiple IP addresses configured. The discovery rule worked, but it only created items for the default interface.
