Drag-zoom is not working on screens in 4.0 web interface

Recently installed 4.0 in a test system and noticed that the drag-zoom is not working in 4.0 for screens. On the default default Zabbix Server screen it works and drag-zooming on the graph images starts working for a particular screen if I put a Local Network item in a new cell on the screen as a bogus extra item. Weird and most probably a bug.

Strange behavior. I'd start with reload of browser cache to see if that helps.

I've tried clearing the browser cache, sadly it didn't help. I might try other browsers but since the drag-zoom functions under peculiar circumstances, I doubt it would help.

If you can be more specific on the "not-working" part? Not drawing the selected region on the screen? Drawing but ignoring?

Is this reproducible elsewhere on another setup or browser?

It means that trying to drag on the image for zoom starts to drag the image as if I wanted to drag and drop the image itself. This is my first 4.0 system in my home lab, so I have no further experience to report on different systems, sorry.

However, I've just tried creating a new screen in latest Chrome and there it works. Latest Firefox (v63) has the bug, so it might be browser-specific.

You might want to report exact steps to reproduce in the Zabbix bug tracker.

No need to report this anymore. Accidentally found that it is going to be fixed in 4.0.1.

Nice, thanks for the heads-up. I tried to search the tracker before posting but my search-fu failed this time.

A colleague of mine has this issue only on his laptop: he cannot select time periods in charts. Other collegues and myself can select time periods in charts on other PCs and laptops.

                  We use Zabbix 4.0.17:

                  zabbix_server (Zabbix) 4.0.17
                  Revision a528a0a4bc 28 January 2020, compilation time: Jan 30 2020 10:22:22

In the console of my colleague's browser this error message appears while dragging to select a time period:

When looking at the sources tab in the dev tools of Chrome, I see that on my laptop js/browsers.js is present and on my colleague's laptop that file is missing. I am not sure if this information helps.

                  Any help is appreciated.
