Recovery Message Enhancement
Hello,
I would like to suggest a new feature be added to the media types that would allow the administrator to check a box to suppress recovery messages for a particular media type attached to a user.
For example, I have a 'Email Notification' media type attached to user: 'Network Admin' that will send an email to a paging device on problem events of severity 'high' or 'disaster'. I also have a another 'Email Notification' that send an email to a exchange distribution group when the severity is 'high' or 'disaster'.
I would like to have the option to send the recovery message ONLY to the distribution group and NOT the pager.
There are other ways to accomplish this - via custom alert script or multiple actions/users - but it seems like a lot of additional configuration when it could be a simple checkbox in the users media configuration.
