Linked template selection when create a new host (Zabbix 4.4)

Hi,

I havn't found any topic about this and I am not sure if it's a bug or a (bad?) design descission.

When you visit https://zabbix-server/zabbix/hosts.php?form=create, switch to template selection and "Add" you have to select the templates from a list. But this list is not the whole list until you select the group templates.

For me this is a some kind of bad design.
What was wrong with the text field where you can select by typing (like Groups on the Host tab)? The list of teplates is quite long and granular, so it takes some time to get everything together.
And why do I have to select the "templates" group to have all templates shown? Why isn't this the default?

After that, when you click select to add the templates the browser jumps back to the Host tab. Is this intentional?

Zabbix allows to have templates in any possible group and/or template does not need to be in Templates group.

hi there,

i have the same new (bad) selection form with that unusefull list since i upraded to 4.4. and i cant find any way to switch it back to the old form where you can just type a text.

is there any known way to switch it back to the old template selection form ?? in my eyes, it was a very better and more quickly way.
