Zabbix Proxy internal item proxy.version

Hi,

today I was gonna check if all my proxies are at the same version only to discover that this is nowhere monitored/logged.

Why isn't there a proxy.version item like we have in the agent (agent.version)?

More than that - how can you even get info from the proxy at all as I've never figured this out - we'd love to get internal proxy data to the main Zabbix server for trending, to watch pollers, etc. but can't see how. I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

Or we'll have to add a custom process/script on the proxy (which has an agent) to get data (we do this already via SQL for DB queues).
