Bring back Latest data like in 2.2.4

I tested version 2.4 and one thing that annoyed me big time is the change on the "Latest Data" page. We use that extensively. But with this change you need to make use of the filter, which is too cumbersome.

Please vote to bring this back.

I agree with you. Please make new filter optional, we use extensively the Latest data "old style" with drop-down boxes.

Just want to add my two cents on this topic

The recently introduced filter re-design seem to make ZBXNEXT-370 more or less needless. The underlying issue is real pain in larger environments. The only easy to maintain work-around was to enforce 'None' for first dropdown entry but that came with the loss of filtering for items from multiple hosts.
Not to mention that at a certain size selecting the right host became faster by using the global search than by using the combo-boxes. Although ZBXNEXT-2185 helped there but turned out to need a better and more efficient implementation. However, that's a different story...

I understand your point. Anyway, from my point of view it brings more advantages than disadvantages.

I used 2.2 at my previous job. Now that I've been at a new job for several months, I am working towards moving our monitoring system to use Zabbix. After about 20 minutes of why I was having a difficult time finding servers in latest data, I realized the the drop down boxes are gone in 2.4.

This is a HUGE point of frustration for me. The drop down boxes were a convenient way to filter through groups. I highly prefer the dropdown boxes to the filter.

EDIT: I just realized that I can still sort by group in the host selection screen, so this cuts down the number of additional clicks I have to may to only two more. This seems workable especially since I'm the only one at my current job that knew how it existed before.
