Feature request about preventing alert storms from failed proxies

Hello the developpers,

I have a bunch of zabbix proxies at my clients and I'm monitoring more than 30-40 server per customer.

If one of my zabbix proxies fails, normally all the agents are becoming red and creating too much alerts.

Do you have any approach about this to prevent this alert / mail storm ?

Can I do something like this, for example ; creating an action like "dont produce any alert if the proxy server is down"

If this not exist, can be this a feature request ?

One could make use of trigger dependencies. But creation and maintaining these to keep consistency needs some extra magic, e.g. by using the Zabbix API.

Considering an appropriate Zabbix proxy trigger in the respective action conditions might work too.
