    Monitoring Windows servers

    Hey guys,

I'm evaluating NMS tools for my business(MSP) and I saw a lot of people saying they liked Zabbix even more than PRTG so I figured I'd give it a try. I spun up a droplet of Zeromon Zabbix on digital ocean and I'm in here but I cant figure out how to download a remote access agent for windows servers.

With PRTG you install the remote access agent on one of the client servers and it polls SNMP data from there but I cant find a download agent anywhere. I've read through documentation and it seems to be linux monitoring based but I've seen people monitoring Windows.

I'm starting to think you need your Proxy/remote access agent to be on a linux server of some kind, and then it'll poll out from there. Is that correct?
