Template DB MSSQL by ODBC

I'm trying to get the following template to work: https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/microsoft_sql
But I don't get any data into Zabbix. Obviously I'm missing something.

How can I verify that everything is set up correct? I don't see any error messages any where - just no data...
How can I verify the ODBC installation for example?

To verify if ODBC connection is working successfully, a connection to database should be tested. That can be done with the isql utility (included in the unixODBC package):
