Feature Request: Mobile App for iOS and Android

I, and I'm sure many others, would really like to have an official mobile app. An official mobile app would be a great way to have Zabbix on the go. I am aware there are community/third-party apps, but an official app would be much better imho.

IMHO It is difficult to think of a more stupid waste of company funds than developing a mobile application (If there is a web application).

I think a great number of people feel otherwise. But everyone has their own opinion and I understand where you are coming from and respect your opinion.

        Just thinking about the topic....
The mobile application combines all the same elements : "communication channel with the server" "user interface". From the point of view of security, the mobile application is no better than a bunch of VPN WEB, and maybe even worse... (Security through obscurity has not saved anyone yet). If you look at the private development of enthusiasts, they are not very popular... I think that zabbix knows how to count money and will not follow the influence of fashion.

Having a responsive web design, might resolve the issue in many cases. Depending on a device, page adjusts. But using mobile devices brings a lot of other issues, like accessing company networks etc. Those frontends are usually not in public networks. Yes, there are VPN clients for mobiles also, but those are not so commonly used as any computer based VPN. In many cases you might need to start managing those phones also, which connect to your network, just to be compliant with all the security aspects.... and this opens another can of worms...
