User-Defined Monitored Parameters return text ??

Today when we define a new UserParameter in zabbix_agentd.conf it must return a numeric result...

In the future version of zabbix could we return text result ??

I try to give a text in the 1.1alpha5 and.. it works. It don't know why but try and see it

What part of documentation you're referring to?

It's in the zabbix_agentd.conf, under the the userparameter's format
