    Dashboard improvements

    Hi,
I am curious if there is a interest or a special forum regarding improving the dashboard.
Or does the dashboard feature not have a high priority?

But before I start asking for things I must compliment the implementation of graphs and their options :-)

I prefer to use the integrated Zabbix dashboard if I can versus a external tool like Grafana (but using both now)
I have a few things that I would have liked in the Zabbix dashboard.
    • The "problem by severity" widget background colour for each severity remains white (or configurable) when value for a severity is 0. So it will only "light up" to its correct colour when a problem exists ( easier on the eyes)
      • Also want to adjust the font size/colour.
    • I like the option in Grafana to show item value and format the view based on value
      • So Widget showing value of item ...optional that it can be formatted based on the value (background colour, text colour etc)
    • The problem widget
      • Can be linked to the selected map. So when I drill down the map the problem widget adapts. I use the map selector
      • When it has historical problems option selected, that I can limit the period" to x- number of days/weeks/months. I have limited to 25 lines, but it still finds ALL historical problems and takes a while to load.
      • When I have a date-picker in a dashboard ( graphs etc.) that a problem widget will adapt to the same period.
    • The Plain text widget can show a historical value for a certain item on a certain host.
      • Would be beneficial to have similar latest value for a item across a whole hostgroup, multiple hosts.

Also I have many dashboards, all shown in one big list "difficult" to find the right one. The latest filter option helps.
But I want to categorize my dashboards (parent/child) into a tree like structure.
    • I can then put my test dashboards in one branch
    • All dashboards related to certain systems under one branch.
    • etc. etc.

    p.s.
Maps: Can "map shapes" parameters (lines, fill colour etc) be linked to triggers similar to links :-)

There is a special resource for such offers. https://support.zabbix.com/projects/...=allopenissues
Or you can do it yourself - the source codes are available.

The background color of the "Problem by Severity" widget for each severity remains white when the value for severity is 0. Thus, it will "glow" to its correct color only when there is a problem
I have such a revision-I can share it.
