Adding holidays to triggers

I would like to see the day 0 being introduced which is refering to a holiday calendar. This way it will be possible to monitor specific alerts only on working days outside of holidays.

Yes its kinda is reversed maintenance the problem with holidays is that there are so many different days in different states/calendars....guess thats why this in pretty low on priority for Zabbix if ever

For improvments purposes in future versions of Zabbix, what about create a trigger expression named $holiday and create a field under Configuration where we can input all our local holidays during the current year. It's a good way to give for the Zabbix Administrator a way to customize the triggers that shouldn't work at holidays.

I think this is the better way to make it, public holidays and many different type of leaves make so hard to build a generic function to handle.

Whatever the way of getting inputs (manuel or API), is there a way to send only critical alerts during holidays ?
