Discussion thread for official Zabbix Dell templates

"Dell" is very vague term here. They have a huge amount of different devices...
You could post a link to what you are talking about..
You have "Monitoring of DELL hardware via DELL OpenManager" listed twice under

https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/dell

Once via share.zabbix.com and other is direct link to same github page...

Hi there,

For now, I always used the template "Dell iDRAC SNMP" for all my DRAC interfaces but with the upcoming 6.0 version, I'm thinking about using those new ones.

But those templates are "only" covering Rx20s and Rx40s series.
What about Rx30s which are broadly used? Should we use any of the existing one instead, but which one (20 or 40)?

Hi, i have just upgraded to zabbix 6.0 and i'm looking for those redfish templates. Running diff on them, they seem like they are the same, just differs in "Rxx0" labels. It feels like there should only be one template for all server models (unless the api differs in some older/newer versions)

It appears that this template is trying to make a large number of requests to the Redfish API, causing it to get blocked. It doesn't seem like this template is just doesn't compatible with the R640. Can you please help me figure out how to make it work?

i don't understand what happens at version 7.

temp is over 90*, but no one trigger is active.
At macro values only weird numbers. what is it?

Install latest 7.4 templates.
You miss dependency for EVERY "not OK" trigger with host status. Since when server is shutdown - everything is not ok. memory, temp, fan..



with enabled servers it also works badly.
