Host template

Hi all,

I was thinking that should be possible to link a host to more than one
template. For example I need to associate some hosts to a template
that performs general checks (link disc space , cpu util ....). In addition
to a subset of these hosts I want to add a particular second template.

Is there a way to do this without manually add items/triggers to every single
host of this subset?

For now (1.1.3), you can link an host to only-one-template. Anyway, you can link a template to another template (and so on to form a templates-chain, if you need).

Multi-template linking (linking more than one template to a given host) is part of the 1.4 (next major) ZABBIX release.

Of course, multi-templating will helps to do a cleaner job for most of us
