I've seen this requested before.
I would love to see an easy way to set/enable/disable blackout and maintenance periods from the web interface.
Using the expressions in the triggers is really tedious and definitely does not lend itself to emergency maintenance. Plus the whole trigger expression gets so long that it's difficult to read, especially if you're not the usual person maintaining zabbix.
Somebody mentioned something about using "worktime" in the general tab, but I can't find a shred of documentation on that, and it appears that it's very global.
