Using regex preprocessing and discard unchanged

Hi

Any reason why using discard unchanged after regex preprocessing doesnt actually discard the unchanged value?


The item is a dependent item (text) from a log item.

Workaround is to use a dependent item of this dependent item, with discard unchanged preprocessing.

Am I missing something?
