    {HOSTNAME} not substitued anymore if linked to template

    i have updated from 1.1stable to 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 now. in alert emails from hosts linked to a template the {HOSTNAME} macro is not substituted anymore when using {TRIGGER.NAME}. not in subject nor in body..
    anyone have the same problem?

    subject:
    ZABBIX: {STATUS} : {TRIGGER.NAME}: {TRIGGER.KEY}

    body of my mail:
    {HOSTNAME} ({TRIGGER.KEY})
    {DATE} {TIME}
    {TRIGGER.NAME}

    it arrives like this:
    subject:
    ZABBIX: OFF : sendmail BB-out mailq is too high (>500) on {HOSTNAME}:

    cmtabb01.muc (cmta.sendmailqueue[BB-out])
    2006.10.25 13:45:38
    sendmail BB-out mailq is too high (>500) on {HOSTNAME}

    regards,
    marc

    I have the same problem using version 1.1.3

    Alerts look like the following:

    Server {HOSTNAME} is unreachable: ON
    2006.11.09 10:17:51
    Trigger key: status
    Value: 2
    Host: <{HOSTNAME} WORKS HERE>

      I had that problem with 1.1.2 but there was a patch that fixed it, but I'm not having that problem with 1.1.3..

        Are you sure you have this problem in ZABBIX 1.1.3? I made lots of testing today, I cannot confirm it yet, everything works as expected.

          I recompiled again from source version 1.1.3. This fixed my issue. I appologise for the false report, it was a human error on my part. Version 1.1.3 is not suffering from this same problem.

            I am seeing this problem on a new installation of 1.1.4. In my overview of a host linked with the default Windows_t template I see lines that look like this:

            Code:
            c:\autoexec.bat has been changed on server {HOSTNAME}
            Host information was changed on {HOSTNAME}
            Lack of free memory on server {HOSTNAME}
            Is this actually a bug or just human error on my part? If this can be caused by incorrect setup what should I check before acknowledging this as a bug?

              he overview page is designed to display the triggers for multiple hosts at one time, so it would not make sense for it to substitute a specific hostname in there, which one would it choose?
