More properties for host group item

Hi,

I didn't find any other way to place devices on geomap than assining coordinates to every device, is that only way or is there something that I'm missing? I'd like to see feature where host group would contain similar properties that device inventory does, this way we could assign device to one group(or more) and place those(host groups) to geomap without assigning coordinates to every device.

Hamardaban Yes, I've seen that post but it just does same, populates coordinates to every device. I'd like to see that host group would have such property and it's inherited to all members. Just a wishful thinking.

It won't work with groups. look at the API calls in the documentation. If there are no such features, then they are not in the system.
I suggested a working method of assigning coordinates through groups==templates.

Yes, I know it's not supported on host group, yet. That's why I posted this to suggestions.
