Any plans for Agent2 to be pure golang?

Are there any plans for Agent 2 to be pure golang? I spent a while considering the posibility of running agent2 on a z/OS system (not zLinux) but the amount of C code that is embedded has made it an up hill struggle. If Agent 2 was pure golang, it might be possible.
In the meantime I will have to write my own cutdown active agent.
