Action Log API

Is there, or will it be posible to connect to the Action Log under Reports via API, like there is for Audit Log.
i've got some leaders that would be thrilled if they could get an auto-generated email with the previous months actions attached as a document.

(i know its possible to click the "Export to CSV" on the website, but i want to make it an automated step.)
