Screen Templates for Hosts?

Hi,


I need to monitor 1000 servers in detail. To get an overview in case of a incident of problem analyis I created in our test installation a screen with 3x4 simple graphs, showing CPU, Network, Disk space etc.

Well I would like to avoid creating 1000 screens for each server. Would it be possible to integrate a given set of simple graphs as a template and choose from a menu which host's data should be used?

This functionality will be available in 1.1. Basically you create a template with linked triggers, graphs, actions, screens, and attach 1000 hosts to the template. All changes made for the template will be automatically propagated to corresponding hosts.

Hopefully this will be part of next alpha (1.1alpha7) scheduled for 7th of March.

Template Screens

Most of this is functional, graphs are linked to templates, however screens are not automated in version 1.1.6. I think we are looking for template linked screens similar to how template linked graphs function.

Not knocking a great product, just identifying what I think what is needed.
