Hi everyone, currently, we have Zabbix version 6.0, and we want to upgrade it to version 7.0. We checked the upgrade steps for version 7.0, but it's showing RPM for version 6.5.0. Will 6.5.0 be equivalent to 7.0? Any suggestions and ideas on this are appreciated.

Better to make a backup of running server and try to upgrade with pre-release.

BS...It is also available in 6.5
See: https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/6.5/rhel/6/x86_64/
6.5 IS actually 7.0 development version. Zabbix labels their releases such way (seems like since 4.5, which was actually 5.0 dev) .. Versions ending with even numbers (0,2,4) are official ones (first number after "."). versions, ending with odd numbers... (1, 3, 5) are dev versions for next one.
If you look here .. https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/ you can find all kind of funny version numbers. But looking inside, you will find a bit different situation.
So for topic starter... 7.0 has not yet been officially released (not even in beta version yet). Upgrading to it and using it in production env is not encouraged... you can use it for developing some upgrade procedures in your own lab, but do not use it in prod, it may still contain bugs and there can be features coming and going..Comment
