    Hello,

    We have encountered an issue which we consider it to be a bug in Zabbix 6.0.26.


    We have a trigger action configured to send an email to a support mailbox which includes multiple host groups conditions to filter out certain host groups we do not wish to send emails for.

    When we deleted a host group that was included in these conditions the trigger action was set to disabled.

    This should not happen.

    What should happen is either not set the action to disabled or when deleting the host group, have a notification indicating that it cannot be deleted as it is used in an enabled action and it firstly needs to be removed from the conditions.

    We can understand that a trigger action gets disabled if the host group is the only remaining condition, but in the case where there are other conditions remaining the action should not be disabled (like in our case).

    I guess it resulted in https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-8982 which ended up a duplicate of https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-551 . Long time asked change request.

          Thanks for the info but it was my understanding that the support system was only for customers with active contracts thus the reason of my post.

          I will post a ticket in this case.

            No, there is separate system for paying customers.. These are public and accept everyones requests and bugs.

                Yes indeed. I thus followed the change request and updated it hoping it will get on their radar again
