Maintenance Window -> handling and awareness (is missing!?) Help wanted!

Hi everybody

I am using Zabbix for years and it is doing a great job, thanks for all the hard work.

Over past years, most of us found that Maintenance configuration ... "unhandy" and "out of awareness"

But in large env and large teams, it is needed to achieve this two targets for us:
- Easy creating/deleting of host/hostgroup maintenance
Here I wrote a small handler for host maint windows, which is ok for small and medium setups:

- Awareness of hosts that are currently affected by a maintenance window
To be honest, I did not found a way to create a dashboard list of all hosts, currently affected by maintenance, shame on me?!
This would be nice, because most customers had the case that items got stuck in maintenance by missconfigured maintenance windows
And the this hosts get not alerted ... bad, so Dashboard widget would create great point of awareness.

I am willing to privatly pay for those features (if someone is willing to help?)
Maybe we could setup a croudfounding for this features.

Really nice, but can not handle hostgroups

So if anyone is willing and able to help, get in contact with me, i would really love to drive this feature with you.
