zabbix trigger status utility in windows tray (near clock)

Big brother monitoring has really great utility called BBtray. It's icon sits in windows tray and becomes red when any trigger is fired, and is green when everything's fine.

Yes, jabber can be used with zabbix to inform about any problems using it's messaging system, but still if you had your computer off, and you turn it on, you don't receive any messages about events already occured.. also you can't see your monitoring system status simply looking at your system tray.

I can't get it turning red, even the triggers are ON. It does give some weird noise but I have no idea the noise if for OK or for NOT OK.

Where:
Language = your language (need be the same in ZABBIX GUI)
Search Page = your ZABBIX URL
Update Interval = delay beteewn checks
Username = your ZABBIX user (with right permissions)
Password = your ZABBIX password
Proxy = if web proxy is needed;
Alarms = what severity you want see
Play Sound = if ZabbixTray will play some sound
Start Windows = if you want start ZabbixTray on Windows Startup

Zabbix Tray should work with Linux (if wine is installed).
This version works only with ZABBIX 1.8
The next versions will be fully compatible with the API.

I don't seem to be able to get this to work? Could this be because I use HTTPS? I also noticed that it seems to send the username & password in plain text as part of the URL - is there any way this can be made secure?
