    Hello forum.

Well, we thought we would just briefly give some personal thoughts as feedback to the forum, developers, users, prospective users etc.

We found the installation process of both server and agent easy... very happy to see the likes of init scripts, sample configs (well commented etc). Additionally nice to see some .spec files.

The webUI, well, guys, sorry, but this need some work. Mostly in the "Intuative" respect. You can get lost as to your exact position in the menu structure, and also elements that may be clickable, are not immediatly evident.

The documentation also needs sprucing up a little. Some elements are not clear (to us at least).

Zabbix worked perfectly sending out SMS alerts, VERY happy at that!

is the device just incase your interested.. just point it to /dev/ttyS0 ...

Anyway, after 48 hours of playing with Zabbix, some points of getting stressed out, confused, etc.. it's all becoming clearer.. and ... pleased to say we are impressed.

We still have a long way to go, but now on the right path.

A thank you to Alexei for responding to our posts with in 5 minutes, and clarifying questions. MANY thanks Alexei !!

Regards to you all, and may you all have a good christmas (May Santa bring you presents, and Zabbix not send you alerts to say you need to go to the office cos' your mail servers died ;-)

    Kind regards

      How much are the units?

Hi, I'm told that we paid around 50-60 euros for it.

But it's been hanging around the offices for years, and has not been used since a previous project.

I can confirm it works well tho' and out of the box with Zabbix..

      Kind regards
