Guys,
This is a feature request.
it would be nice if the visualization of the nested host groups on the dashboard could be 1) limited to the n-th level and 2) aggregate the counts to the levels specified.
Now when you create lots of nested host groups, the dashboard could become very long and defeats the purpose of an overview.
We use for example the following setup:
Customers
Customers/Customer1
Customers/Customer1/Network
Customers/Customer1/Servers
Customers/Customer2
Customers/Customer2/Network
Customers/Customer2/Servers
Internal
Internal/PlantA
Internal/PlantA/Network
Internal/PlantA/Servers
Internal/PlantA/Power
Internal/PlantA/Environment
Internal/PlantB
Internal/PlantB/Network
Internal/PlantB/Servers
Internal/PlantB/Power
Internal/PlantB/Environment
etc...
So limiting the host groups to the 2nd level, the dashboard should show only host groups that are 2 levels deep with their aggregated host/problem count which makes the dashboard more usable:
Customers/Customer1
Customers/Customer2
Internal/PlantA
Internal/PlantB
Anyone else have a better idea?
