Use-case for tags created by Windows service discovery on factory templates

Can anyone explain the use-case for the tags which are automatically created by the Windows service discovery on the factory Windows templates?
Each tag is unique to the service it is associated with - so it doesn't give me the ability to see a bunch of related things, for example.
The tags are duplicates of the Name field, which is already searchable - so it doesn't give me the ability to filter on something that I cannot already do.
Windows OS hosts often have many tens of services which consumes - on a sample host - about 300 vertical pixels in the subfilter box, which takes away from space used to show useful data.
So am I missing some use-case here?
I am minded to remove this from the template.

    These?
Maybe for usage in service monitoring (all that SLA stuff, but even there I have hard time to see any use of ALL services)? I am not doing that, so useless from my point of view.. If I would use OOB template, I definitely would remove those, as I don't need them.

Yes, those are tags are I am talking about.
It's never easy to know if one is missing some subtle detail, or if someone else just did something pointless
