    Zabbix Reports - Half Baked?

We're on Zabbix 7.0.x, but I just set up and used the Zabbix 'Scheduled Reports' feature of Zabbix.

    Some observations:
    1) I understand that the report is essentially a 'dashboard' comprised of mulitple graphs, but consider this: I only care about the values collected between the hours of 7am and 5pm for the previous day. The date range of the graphs needs to be more tunable than it currently is (previous day, previous week, previous month)

    2) The action to send an email to someone when the report is generated is lackluster. Consider this: I have two 'email' addresses tied to my account in zabbix. It sends the report to BOTH, yet I was never asked nor told how it was going to do so. This needs to be more tunable.

    Thoughts?

My thought would be, why put two email addresses in your account if you don't want to receive emails from Zabbix to both?

My main email address is used for all alerts.

The other email address is actually my email ----> txt message on my cell phone.

The email has no subject either. WHY?

Maybe make the subject whatever the dashboard was named?

All in all this seems like a good start, but I see a LOT of improvements needed.

You can create a user and add this "main" email address just for this user, to receive all alerts. Then you could remove this email from your user.
Yes, it's a workaround, but maybe it'll help...

I agree, reports need to see improvements to become more useful.
