I run my virtual machines, under Proxmox, with the network device set to a model of VirtIO. With this set Zabbix yells at me that the NIC interface speed is -1000000. If I set it to Vmxnet3 I get the proper speed of 1 Gbps listed in Zabbix. Can you please update your code to take into account the Proxmox setting, so we do not have to troubleshoot this in the future. I am happy to help, as I have multiple Proxmox servers running in my lab. I am trying to get off VMware and have both Proxmox and Nutanix running.
