We often want to graph multiple items in a single graph. Usually it means adding the items one by one. If the items are discovered, it's not even possible to add them automatically to the graph.
Maybe an option to add "all items of application X" could be a good solution to the problem? Let's say I create a graph and add my "Networking" applicatoin to it - and the graph would show everything in the application like incoming and outgoing traffic on every interface.
Currently we have all the application mechanics on item side, only graphing functionality should be adjusted then.
