    Cloning and Grouping Items

    Hi

    Are you planning to do some kind of cloning (it would be probably only a web
    interface feature) - you select item/trigger, push clone button, change a bit
    name and parameter and save it as a new item/trigger?

    Second thing - grouping items? When you see server view, there is (for example
    of course) /dev/sda item. When it's clicked/unfolded you can see bytes/s
    written, bytes/s read, read operations/s etc. etc (and of course ability to
    clone such a group )

    I'm just asking if it's planed since 1.4 description is not enought detailed to
    know that

    Regards

    The "Clone" button is already implemented in 1.3.3. Not sure about second feature, are you thinking of a way of cloning all items of an application?

      Hi,

      With "grouping" i'm thinking about ability (like in email clients for example) to do tree style folding/unfolding of groups of items.
      example:
      | disk partition hda1
      +-> read bytes/s
      +-> write bytes/s
      +-> total partition size
      +-> free partition space
      +-> used partition space

      this whould clean up interface a lot, and (what is more importat) ability to clone/edit such a group would be a great stuff. You could just clone it, change hda1 to hda2 and all depending items would also change to hda2

      Cheers..

        The grouping is already supported. Link some of your items to applications to see what I mean.
