Math functions

Hello,
surfing the forum, it seems I'm the only one to need simple math functions inside and/or between items.
I mean, I would need math functions between items (eg. create a dummy item with values from item1 * (item2 + item3) or inside the item itself (eg. itemvalue + 100).
Moreover, those math functions could be introduced also in graphs, so you leave the original values untouched but sum, scale or whatever in graphs realtime.

Anyone has this need?

I will definitely love this feature.

Comparing zabbix to ganglia, I found that ganglia has from scratch the ability to sum basic metrics system.

Here is an example here.

I tried to do the same with aggregation mechanism. But if you have 2 types of servers with different items, I couldn't make it work.
Maybe with the math function it will be possible.

Following this idea, It will be great to have this aggregation template out of the box from zabbix, because they are summary key metrics for system health.
