    Wiki!

    Hello,

I'd like to add my voice to the others who suggested a Zabbix wiki. In my opinion, the ideal scenario would be to transfer the Alpha documentation to the wiki so that the community can contribute to updates.

The Request Tracker guys (which is a great complement to Zabbix by the way) have been doing this for a while:

Alexei could periodically roll-up what we've written into an official documentation release (or just cherry-pick what he wants). In either case, this somewhat solves the stale documentation problem.

    Cheers,

    Jonathan

i was about to propose this same idea. i think a wiki would be a great place to store documentation.

trac (http://www.edgewall.com/trac/) has a wiki with an integrated bug tracking system.

So all we need now is someone to volunteer space on a server to host this!

Another feature that would be really useful is some sort of wishlist of new features. Add the option to vote for features (like they do for OpenOffice.org) and Alexei would have his roadmap

Well duh, there's a feature request list already on the Sourceforge page for Zabbix :

        http://sourceforge.net/projects/zabbix

Alexei: do you use that list? The stuff in the RFE list looks pretty old (mostly 2004).
