Using Zabbix only for process monitoring

    Hello,
I'm Freanch and I have a very bad english level, so sorry for my langage.

I would like to use Zabbix only for processes (applications) monitoring (and so disable completly networks and systems monitoring). Somebody has already carried out this operation? How proceeded ?

    Thank-you very much

ZABBIX does support monitoring of processes, so I see absolutely no problems here. Are you interested in availability information only (up/down), or you need detailed information such as memory/CPU/disk usage per process?

It is to supervising chains of process. For example process A runs out to 19:00 and when it finished, B runs out, etc.

So I'm interested by the return code of process or the logs to determine different possible alerts, and good course of the chains of processes in assigned time.

Possibly if I can supervise the resources consumed by one processes, that interests me too.
But I'have no need (and not inevitably rights) to monitor the state of the network or the material...

My goals is to have a real time and remote time tools for supervision.
