Problem with Windows Net IN/Out traffic monitoring

Hello All

I m using zabbix 1.1.4, I m facing a problem that I want to monitor the Net In/Out traffic of Windows machines. I have created items for Net In and for Net out as available. But these items are unable to generate any value. When I click on Monitoring tag and want to see the value it always show it as Zero (0). so any one can tell me how can i handle it.

I faced the same problem and ended up using Windows performance counters. These provide better monitoring data when you have have a machine with multiple NICs or are using NIC teaming.
