I run zabbix to monitor 5 hosts in production site and yesterday I noticed that the status page was very slow to appear (> 2 min). After some investigations I noticed that the history table contains over 40.000.000 records. Searching the forum I find a Alexei' post explaining how to reset statistics and I solved the problem.
My suggestion is: is possible to add a "Clear statistics (retaining last n days|month values)" option in the web interface?
