I have not tested the distributed Zabbix setup. But I plan to do so in a lab soon. I could not tell from the documentation. But does the distributed setup also allow for triggers to be tested against all or certain nodes to base an action on?
For example: Node1 and Node2 detect a server down. Both Nodes consider the server down so do an action.
Second example: Node1 sees a server down. But Node2 shows the server functioning and Node1 and Node2 still have communication. Do not do action.
Is something like this possible? Or is the distributed setup currently configuration and data only?
I currently have a simple 2 node in-house monitoring system and one of the false-positive triggers is one location being able to reach a host. But the other node location cannot, so it sends a notice (even though there is usually no issues since it is just an anomaly between the second location and the host).
Hope this makes sense...
