    Feature: clone screen

It would be really convenient to have a "clone screen" button. I need to create a number of similar screens (3x4) with just 1 or 2 components different. The key here is that I have all the component sizes already set up perfectly for the physical screens that will be used.

it would be also great to have the opportunity to have a screen linked to a template and replacing graphs etc. automatically.

There is a great chance that a different approach to screen cloning/templating/etc will be introduced in the next major release. Stay tuned!

Alexei, any further progress on this? I'm waiting breathlessly, and starting to turn a funny shade of blue....

In 1.6.2 there is literally no way to clone screens.

There are dynamic cells, etc, but I don't see a way to take a screen and make a copy of it, which is the feature I'm looking for!

Indeed, how can screens be cloned?

screen can be used on multiple hosts with the 'dynamic items' enabled.
There is no way to really 'clone' a screen in zabbix 1.6.x.

                      Thanks, 'discovered' it today.
It's not really what I was looking for but it does the trick so I'm happy
(It's just kind of weird that the developers used another implementation/function for this)

                        hi!

I wanted to know how to make a screen model. I search how to do, but I don't understand.

                        if you can explain me.

                        thx
